[Discussion] Rare Pairs/Crack Ships Go!

You wanna ramble about a ship you like that nobody else seems to/very few people do? Ramble about it here! Tell me about why this ship is intressting or cool or whatever!

I'mma go first: pale/qpr Tenko X Korekiyo.

If you're confused right now, I was too when I started reading Anthropologic adventures (by anon). But I feel like they'd, weirdly balance eachother out? As in, Kiyo could help Tenko stay levelheaded while Tenko could help Kiyo stay honest emotionally. They're like an odd couple to me, two disasters of people who weirdly make eachother better & it freaks everyone around them out. Like this isn't like to happen in canon for obvious reasons & even Kiyo's canon backstory makes it hard to imagine. But in an universe where Kiyo's getting help, I can see it happening.

I'm bad at explaining ._.

I'm a multishipper at heart, so honestly you could put any ship in front of me with the right spin on it and I'd be into it. As far as the strange and rare that I particularly enjoy, though, I think I'd have to say Ounami (Nanami/Ouma), mostly for personal reasons beyond any strict concept of canon. If I'm Ouma, then one of my partners is Nanami, that's kind of how it emerged.

Beyond that, though, I explored it exactly once in an afterlife fic, which wasn't even explicitly shippy in nature they were just together. Talking. I feel like after everything that happened, Nanami would have the patience and persistence to be the kind of consistent presence that Ouma would need. Not necessarily pushing him in any direction, because he struggles with that sort of thing, but just passively existing in his space so he doesn't have to be alone while he processes all his shit.

When he's ready, she'll be there, and that's a big deal for him.
