Maybe its just us, but it can be that people have a hard time telling when Hajime is supposed to be snappy, cause he does seem to be the (outwardly) snappiest of the 3 protags. So maybe they overcompensate with him? idk i haven't read a lot of Hajime fic recently.

But yeah despite being less obvious about, Shuichi has less patience & more selective compassion.
