That's real! I think, at least for me, a big part of it is anxiety over whether or not people want that kind of engagement, because I'm afraid people will think I'm arguing with them or something. I'm starting to learn the only way to prove myself otherwise is just biting the bullet and making that bid for connection anyway. Practice makes perfect!
